Galipeau Speaks to Wisconsin Congressional Staff

Dr. Jacques Galipeau, director of the Program of Advance Cellular Therapy, spoke about the PACT program to a delegation of congressional staff members from the offices of Senators Tammy Baldwin and Ron Johnson and Representatives Gwen Moore, Glenn Grothman, Ron Kind, Mark Pocan, Sean Duffy, and Mike Gallagher.

The delegation came to the UW School of Medicine and Public Health on August 21, 2018, as part of a three-day campus wide tour that included Union South, UW Med Flight, Camp Randall, and the School of Veterinary Medicine, among several other areas. This visit gave congressional staff an opportunity to meet with federally funded researchers to learn more about their work understand how UW-Madison uses its federal research funding and the benefits that flow from our research.
