PACT Adds New Member to the cGMP Manufacturing Team!

The UW Program for Advanced Cell Therapy welcomes Jessica Murphy, BS, MLS (ASCP) as our new Process Development and Manufacturing Scientist. Ms. Murphy comes to us from the Center for Regenerative Medicine; Immune, Progenitor and Cell Therapy (IMPACT) Laboratory; Mayo Clinic, Rochester, MN. Ms. Murphy is a Certified Medical Technologist and practiced Clinical Laboratory Science in the Division of Hematology at Mayo Clinic for 11 years before entering the field of cGMP cell therapy manufacturing for the last four years. Ms. Murphy has experience in the manufacture of therapeutic CAR-T, dendritic and mesenchymal stromal cells, as well as training and project/laboratory management experience.

The energy on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus and particularly within the dynamic PACT laboratory group has sparked a fresh outlook on the allure of science and discovery after more than a decade out in the workforce. Jessica is thrilled to be back in her home state with her family and looking forward to all the Badger community has to offer.
